V.A. woman sentenced to jail for 3 1/2 years for putting Windex in co-workers coffee
If your current job ever makes you think about poisoning your co-workers just quit, it ain't worth it fam. However for Mayda Edith Rivera Juarez that wasn't the case. According to an article on WTOP.com, Mayda, 33, A Virginian woman from Loudoun County was working for JAS worldwide around last year 2016, when a plethora of employees at the company started having the same symptoms of stomach pains, extreme nausea, and vomiting. One employee linked the symptoms with everyone else that drank the coffee in the office that day. The supervisor then went and reviewed the tapes from that day & found Mayda there pouring windex into the water reservoir of the company's coffee maker inside of their break room. Of course after that she was fired. Once it got hold to officers she later on told them that she had also been pouring Ajax into the coffee maker as well. Plus squirting extra soap into her supervisor's cup. She now has to serve 3 1/2 years for adulteration of food with intent to injure or kill. But what did she really think was going to happen? Did she not expect to get caught? Or was it all in her plan to lose her job... to go out with a bang? I honestly think that what she's done was going way too far & doing way too much.
