Prayers for Wayne: Rapper Lil Wayne hospitalized after suffering multiple seizures

According to multiple sources and a report from TMZ, Rapper lil Wayne was hospitalized on Sunday evening in Chicago after being found unconscious in his hotel room at the Westin on Michigan Avenue. Reports say he had suffered from at least one seizure in the hotel and one more by the time he was rushed to northwestern memorial hospital. 

Wayne was scheduled to perform at midnight on Sunday in Las Vegas at Drai's Night Club with Rae Sremmurd. Members from his team tried to have him released earlier Sunday afternoon so that he could still perform his show that night, however doctors denied the release request and advised him to rest for the next few days.

Mr. Carter has a history of seizures and it has even been said that he has epilepsy. This isn't the first time he has had to rest, been hospitalized, or has to cancel a show due to seizures. So let's all just keep Wayne, his team, and his family in all our prayers while he recovers.
