Nicki Minaj's Brother Jelani Maraj Was Found Guilty in Children Rape Case

According to several reports, Jelani Maraj, 38, was found guilty of predatory sexual assualt against a child and endangering the welfare of a child on thursday (Nov.9) in Long Island, New York. The Child was the daughter of Maraj's wife at the time Jacqueline Robinson, making her his step-daughter. At the time of the alleged rape the child was 11, she's now 14 and she testified against him as well as her younger brother. The daughter was allegedly assaulted between April and November of 2015 while her mother was out for work. The son came out as well and told jurors that he had seen Maraj's "private parts" touching his sister. He also said that Maraj slapped him across the face several times after the situation and then threatened that he would never see his mother again if he told others what he had saw.

Police said they had found Maraj's semen on a pair of the little girls pajama pants, the defense on maraj's team had claimed the girls mother had planted the evidence and according to another source they said the defense stated it could have been clothing washed in the laundry together. 

Maraj's lawyer claimed that the mother and daughter was attempting to get $25 million from Maraj and his celebrity younger sister Nicki. Maraj will be held in Nassau County Correctional Center in East Meadow, New York without bail and is facing 25 years to life.
