It is with great sadness that we report the passing of West Coast rap legend "Wytony Dillion," known to the culture by his stage name Big Wy of the group "The Relativez." We received the heartbreaking news that Big Wy, a close friend of trapLA, has left us due to an unknown illness. Hailing from Inglewood, this iconic artist, formerly known as "Red Rag," first made his mark in 1993 with his appearance on the groundbreaking release of "Bloods & Crips, Banging On Wax."
Big Wy, a talented producer and rapper, had been battling health issues related to weight for some time. He courageously documented his journey on Instagram, inspiring others with his resilience. In 2010, Big Wy gained significant recognition by forming the group "Cali Swag District." Together, they achieved international success with their chart-topping single, "Teach Me How To Dougie."
