MEET "FRANKE R.E.P.UTATION"

Spreading love and acceptance, Franke R.E.P.utation is hoping to inspire his listeners. Born in Los Angeles but raised in Compton, CA Franke R.E.P.utation began writing his own music and taking his career serious at the early age of 13. By the age of 16, Franke had already recorded a full song and even had a live performance. He started music for the connection, unity and expression it brings. He developed his stage name from his lifestyle of being an honest and sincere person, while the acronyms R.E.P. represent his full government name.

Franke is heavily influenced by artists such as Johnny Taylor, Sam Cooke, Musiq Soulchild, Sade and a host of others. Not just artists, Franke also says his mother and brother are among those who influence him. Franke has performed at events such as the celebrations of James Brown and Ray Charles at the Grammy Museum.

Franke’s self-produced project Tape 1.8.91 shows off his unique R&B sound. His childhood friend, Kapsadik helped produce “Permanent” and “Night Cap”on the album. The things he cares about and what touches his soul push him to create music. He is currently in the process of working on his second album. Franke recently released his second mixtape on SoundCloud titled Free99.

Apart from music, we can expect sincerity, creativity, honesty and love from Franke R.E.P.utation. He wants his audience and everyone listening to him to know, “It’s all love”.
