Tiana Kocher Drops “Don’t Trip”

Do NOT sleep on Tiana Kocher! She stays giving us those 90s R&B vibes that we all miss! All the way from Manila, Philippines, Tiana has made a name for herself in the United States moving to Los Angeles, California. She dropped her first single, “Just My Type,” in 2018 that now has over 692,500 streams just on Spotify alone. She has even opened for A$AP Rocky in her home city in 2019, and performed at the Pre-GRAMMY Soiree this past February.

Kocher says that she is passionate about music because she sees it as something that has healed her throughout difficult times in her life. This shows in her music as she sings about love, in both romantic and platonic forms. Kocher grabs from the sounds of 90s and early 2000s R&B singers such as Brandy, Monica, Keyshia Cole, Aaliyah, Tamia, SWV, and TLC. While she is very much inspired by the 90s Contemporary R&B era, Tiana Kocher’s soothing voice reminds us of Kehlani, another one of her inspirations.

Tiana Kocher is unique. Not only does she love looking for her fashion inspirations on Fairfax Avenue and thrift stores, she is also an artist who is involved in every aspect of her career. Kocher works very closely with her publicist, glam team, choreographer, and producers to ensure that everything she portrays to the world is 100% authentically her. She believes, “…we are all responsible for our own destiny.”

Her latest single dropped April 3, titled “Don’t Trip.” Vibe around your house this quarantine bumping this track, or even participate in the #donttripchallenge on TikTok! It currently has over 3 million views and generates donations to the Red Cross. Ladies, this song is sure to make you feel like a bad b*tch in charge!

Aside from “Don’t Trip,” which is out now, Tiana Kocher has tracks coming out soon, collaborating with Sage the Gemini, J Alvarez, Demarco, and TLC. A self-titled EP

will be dropping on June 26, 2020 with a launch party in Hollywood on June 25, if all goes well due to current world circumstances.
