John Singleton's Close Friends Lay Legendary Director To Rest At Private Service
John Singleton was laid to rest in a small, intimate family funeral on Monday.
The "Boyz N the Hood" director died on April 29, hours after his family members revealed they were taking him off life support following a stroke in Los Angeles on April 17.
The 51-year-old’s relatives bid farewell to the writer and filmmaker in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, described as “a very small, intimate goodbye for family and very close friends.”
Intimate friends like Ice Cube, Ving Rhames, Stevie Wonder, F. Gary Gray Nia Long, Taraji P. Henson, and Ludacris were among the director's close friends who were attendance.
