Heartbreaking news from the music world: OG Maco, the Atlanta-born rapper who skyrocketed to fame with his 2014 breakout hit “U Guessed It,” has passed away at the age of 32. Known for his raw energy and fearless artistry, Maco quickly became a voice in the culture with a track that defined a moment in hip-hop history. But behind the scenes, OG Maco faced immense challenges. After surviving a horrific car accident in 2016 that left him with severe injuries, he later revealed in 2019 his battle with a rare flesh-eating disease. Despite these struggles, he continued to create and inspire, reminding fans of his resilience and artistry. TMZ reports that Maco tragically passed from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after weeks of hospitalization. His death is a sobering reminder of the importance of mental health and supporting those fighting unseen battles.
